Mini Cherry Cheese Tarts

If you’re looking for a simple and delicious dessert to throw together at the last minute, these mini cheese tarts are a delicious party treat or a way to satisfy your cheesecake cravings without overindulging.

 

Mini Cherry Cheese Tarts

Ingredients

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  • 2 - 8 ounce packages of cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • ˝ cup + 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • One box of Vanilla wafers
  • 1 - 8 ounce can of cherry pie filling
  • Cupcake tins (small size)

Preparation

  1. Mix cream cheese, eggs sugar and vanilla.
  2. Place I vanilla wafer flat side down in the bottom of cupcake paper.
  3. Fill each cupcake paper leaving space for topping.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and muffin pan.
  5. Place the tarts on a cooling rack and let cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. When the tarts are cooled, top with teaspoon of cherry pie filling.
